Headship is a significant responsibility. Leadership is a weighty challenge & fellowship is no small assignment.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133
Here at Faith Center Men’s Ministry, we fostered in two ways: 1) dwelling together in Unity and Fellowship. From the heart of God, it is a wonderful thing for brothers to come together in fellowship and unite. 2) Dwelling together is the power of unity to build strong men who will build strong families and trusted relationship with their sons.
The men at Faith Center come together quarterly for fellowship and an encouraging word from the Lord. Throughout the scriptures, high priority is given to spiritual unity. For example, just before His death, our Lord Jesus prayed fervently to his Father that His followers would be brought to complete unity like the relationship He had with His Father, that we all would be one. (John 17:23)
As Sons of the same Father, we desire the same bond between each other. Isaiah 41:6-7says, everyone helped his neighbor, and said to his brother, be of good courage. So the craftsman encouraged the goldsmith; He who smooths with the hammer inspired him who strikes the anvil, saying it is ready for the soldering. Then he fastened it with pegs that it might not totter.
“If one falls down his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up.”
